While that loss was a hard one, it is not like UVa has been regularly sweeping VT in basketball. Only once since VT has joined the ACC has UVa beaten VT in both matchups (they also went on to beat VT a third time in the ACC tournament that year). VT is yet to beat UVa twice in a season, though this is at least the second year in a row that VT has won the first meeting.

VT appears to have a lot of talent on their team. UVa does as well, but unfortunately, outside of Sean Singletary, it doesn't appear that the rest of the Wahoos have much drive.
