SST, as it is affectionately known in the blogosphere, was founded in 2004 by three politically-minded Virginia natives. Already representing the geographic diversity of their home state, the founders of SST selected pseudonyms that would also reflect Virginia’s rich and diverse history. SST was formed as an outlet to express their mutual passions about sports, politics, religion, culture and, of course, the great Commonwealth of Virginia.

Quickly recognized as one of the top political blogs in the Old Dominion, SST was an active participant in the blog revolution that swept Virginia during the 2005 Gubernatorial Campaign involving Republican Attorney General Jerry Kilgore and Democrat Lieutenant Governor Tim Kaine. Though life briefly interfered with their blogging pursuits, the founders of SST are proud to announce the re-launch of this respected Virginia blog and hope it will become, once more, a right-wing fixture on the Internet.
